In a press release by the Marshfield Community Rating System (CRS) and Plan for Public Information Committee (PPI), it was announced that the town has achieved a class 7 in CRS, up from a current class of 9. This achievement saves all National Flood Insurance Program policy holders in Marshfield’s high risk flood zone 15% annually on flood insurance premiums.
