Marshfield Community Media is a non-profit community access organization serving the Marshfield community. MCM serves anyone who lives, works or has taxpayer status in Marshfield. MCM provides access to the communication medium of television while supporting the First Amendment right to free speech.
Our state of the art facility provides members access to 2 studios and an edit suite. The larger studio has 2 sets with versatile capabilities and optional green screen, all of which is professionally lit. The edit suite contains 4 separate Apple Computer editing stations, giving our members more flexibility to schedule time to complete their projects. Once a member has been trained on how to properly use either the studio or edit suite, a time slot can be reserved to use it.
MCM offers members the ability to reserve professional production equipment for use outside of the facility. We have a variety of cameras, sound and lighting equipment available to members who have completed training on how to operate the item(s) they would like to use. Field production equipment can be taken out weekdays and weekends.
Marshfield Community Media is an independent, non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors from the Marshfield Community whose mission is to help all Marshfield citizens and institutions realize their full potential through community communication and to encourage and facilitate their fullest participation in communicating their message.
Marshfield Community Media exists to give the public access to the communication medium of television. The public includes all individuals who live, work or have taxpayer status in Marshfield, and to all organized groups with offices in Marshfield. Marshfield Community Media accepts all types of information and expression and welcomes a diversity of views.
